Background

While professionally committed to his education, Dr. Cavallo is equally committed to giving back to his community and abroad. Dr. Cavallo spends a couple of weeks annually serving the needs of the Haitian community of Banica, Haiti. He has developed and established a hygiene program for the children of Banica in an effort to educate the youth and their families about dental hygiene. During his time in Banica, crowds wait outside the clinic for the rare opportunity to have abscessed teeth extracted and infections managed due to lack of education and neglect.
